Yarn Along ~ Arm Knitting Stash Down

I have been busy working on some new knitting patterns. I am getting much closer to having some released and I am very excited about them. In the mean time I needed to take a quick brake from swatches and pattern writing.

In general I don't have much of a yarn stash. I tend to buy yarn per project. So I don't have too much laying around (I'm sure my husband will say different). But the little bit I do have I wanted to bust through quickly. The other day I organized everything I had by color and yarn type and sorted it all out.

Then I decided to hold some yarn together and make a quick 15 minute infinity scarf by arm knitting.

For this scarf I held four strands of Baby Alpaca yarn together arm knitted. I believe I used about 80 yards of each color.

So if you are looking to bust through some of your stash I highly recommend arm knitting some quick cowls! It is instant stash down gratification. I've been wearing this scarf all week and I love it!

For reading I finished "The Fiery Cross". I am now reading Outlander "A Breath of Snow and Ashes". I don't want these books to ever end!
