Yarn Along~ Postcard Cardigan

I finished my Postcard Cardigan and due to overwhelming encouragement I have decided to release the pattern. That is when I get it legible. So the pattern is in the works.  My first version of it I made using Brooklyn Tweed Loft. I found the yarn to be heavenly. I really loved working with it.....except that I have an allergy to wool. I have tried to deny it for years now, but this time put me over the edge. I sneezed way to much, my eyes burned and my sinus couldn't stand it. I assure you the yarn is fabulous non the less. I have bad allergies and am allergic to many other things, so this is just on my list. Boo Hoo. Boo Hoo.

So I went up to Chelsea Yarn and bought new yarn for another Postcard Cardigan.  This time I went with Anzula Squishy in the colorway "Sexy".

OMG this yarn is a dream! I have used it before and insisted it was the softest yarn I've ever used and I think everyone should treat themselves to this yarn once and a while. It is a joy to knit with. So my second version is coming out very nice. I wish I could find more time to work on it!

Since I have one skein of Brooklyn Tweed Loft yarn left over I am offering it as a GIVEAWAY.  If you would like this 275 yard skein of yarn please leave a comment below letting me know you would like the yarn and I'll randomly draw a winner on Saturday February 22nd.

I would love the yarn. It's perfect to make fingerless mitts with. Plus you wouldn't have to ship it...I live in Wall too!

Your cardigan is amazing and how nice of you to release the pattern.
That's a bummer about the wool, but it's great that you have other options.
Thank you for the giveaway, I would love to add my name.

I'm always happy to have extra yarn! A wool allergy seems so sad for a knitter. :-( But your sweater is beautiful. I think I like the second version even better.

Beautiful sweater. So glad you will be posting the pattern. I too have a slight yarn allergy so leave me out of the giveaway. Someone else will be able to put it to better use.

So nice of you to do this giveaway, I would love to try the yarn and relieve you of your allergies. :-) So excited that you have decided to release the Postcard Cardigan pattern, and will wait patiently while you get it ready. Just bought the Anzula Squishy Sexy for the Chelsea Yarns March KAL. I think you will see that I was channelling my inner Andee when I chose the colors, beautiful earth tones.
