Yarn Along- Sick Kids

After my endless Plliver Top I needed a quick mindless project so I casted on a Bolt.

I love this project. It is just a step above mindless knitting. You only have to think a little bit. Just enough to keep you from getting bored.  I love it!  I am using alpaca yarn from my parents alpacas Kal, Awan, and Mychrona.  Kal & Awan's fiber got mixed together to make the tweed brown yarn and the light fawn is from Mychrona.  I think this is a perfect project to do for the farm yarn (or any yarn really this is such a great knit).  I like that I can pick out different alpacas and put them together so nicely in a scarf.

I've got two sick kids. We just got back from the doctors and Brady has pneumonia and Tiny has a very bad ear infection. They both are coughing up a storm and have endless boogers coming out of their noses.  We got lots of meds and hopefully they will be on the mends soon!!!  They have been sick too long. Tomorrow Brady goes back to the doctors for a follow up and fingers crossed they won't be sending us to the hospital.  So if you need me I'll be cuddled up on the couch next to my boys knitting and watching movies.  I think some homemade chicken meatball soup is in order!

Sorry to hear that your kids are sick, snuggling up on the couch and watching movies with them, and chicken soup sounds like just the ticket.

I love your latest creation and creativity in this pretty photo.

Wishing you all good health :)

Love the colors of your Bolt. Every now and then we do need mindless knitting and garter is always the best for that. Love the cabinet that your knitting is on!
