The kids are still sick but getting better. Brady is getting over his pneumonia and Tiny's ear infection isn't causing him as much pain as it was before. So slowly they are feeling better. We have been stuck in the house sick for two weeks. Ugg.
I am doing a test knit and I needed a set of needles for the next part of the knit. I couldn't find the size I need (although to be honest I really didn't look that hard). I was really looking for an excuse to get out of the house and check out the new yarn store, Chelsea Yarns. Oh it was so worth the trip. I got my needles and two skeins of "Squishy" Anzula hand dyed yarn. I got a skein of Seaside and a skein of Mauve. It is 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon and 1 million percent some of the softest prettiest yarn ever. There was endless yarn to drool over. Chelsea Yarn has some of the most beautiful yarn I have seen in one place. I'll definitely be back.
I have been wanting to knit myself something out of gray and pink yarn for quiet sometime. I have no clue what I am going to make with this, but I can't wait to get it on my needles. Even the boys wanted to hold it in the store. It is really that nice.
The boys really like the new yarn store too because it is next to Delicious Orchards. One of our favorite places. We came home with lots of goodies and happier spirits. We really needed that little outing.
