This is my first time participating with a Rural Journal's Sunday Best.
I am not sure why I haven't done this before because I love looking at every one's Sunday Best each week. It's about time I join the party.
So Friday night we were hanging out in the backyard in our pool with our friends and one of the kids pointed out the moon. I knew at that moment I had to try to photograph it.
I took pictures of the moon once before and I was amazed at my results. This time I took a little more caution with my settings since I discovered last time I could capture so many details on the moon.
So I grabbed my camera and tripod and got set up. I set my camera to Manual and adjusted my metering mode to "center-weighted metering". (aka the setting [ ]) I'm no pro so that might be the wrong setting, but of all my shots it seems to show the most detail.
My alarm clock is set for 4:00 am. Hope for good weather we are off to watch 125 hot air balloons launch!
