I don't like to moan and groan, but I am going to moan and groan :) Tiny Terror did not get his nickname by accident. He is truly the most exhausting child on the planet. If you have ever met him in person you know what I'm talking about. He does not stop talking the entire day. I can usually tolerate him, but if I'm sick then it is a different story. I came down with a rotten cold about two days ago and Tiny has showed me no mercy. He literally does not stop talking or moving the entire day. I should say he whines the entire day. When I am on the phone with people they always ask "Does he ever stop?" No, no he does not.
I've tried laying down, but he pulls the covers off of me, puts his little hands under me and yells "Mommy get up! You can't sleep all day it's sunny out." If I sit at the computer he stands next to me saying, "Mommy you can't work all day." So I gave into him and after Brady went to school I decided we had to get out of the house no matter how sick I am feeling. I just couldn't take another minute. So we went to the beach I got a cup of coffee and decided to walk along the water and look for shells and sea glass. Tiny the entire time yelling "Mommy I don't want to go by the water. I want to go on the playground." So we headed to the beach playground. After a few minutes "Mommy it's too windy I want to go somewhere else." So we went to my parents farm.
The alpacas seemed happy to see us.
Below is Kigo. His fiber won first place in a fiber spin off competition today! I was so excited when I found out. I told him that he won a blue ribbon today. He seemed more interested in the buttercup than my big news.
Buttercups are actually poisonous to alpacas if they eat too many of them. There are lots of them in the field right now, but they don't eat them. But they do make for great pictures.
Below is Mycrona. Isn't see pretty? She is going to be a mommy.
Below is Ox taking a roll in the dirt.
This is Tsunami my sister Liz's alpaca.
This is Geneva. She will be having a baby soon.
After visiting with the alpacas Tiny and I went in the aviary to see the canaries. I love the canaries. I don't care how sick I felt before I went into see them. How can you not smile after seeing them. They are very funny little birds and they sing so beautiful.
I decided instead of just taking pictures I'd video tape them singing. You have to excuse Tiny. I told you earlier he never stops talking.
And I knitted this hat last night. I called it "Peanut Hat" and it is sitting next to me right now, so I thought I'd add it to this post. Why not?
In the end Tiny's endless whining and forcing me to get out of the house even though I am sick ended up being a good thing. I guess I just needed a little fresh air and a photo session to cheer me up. Thanks Tiny, but no you still can't have fruit snacks.

sorry you're not well! sounds like you've got your hands full, too! but you still took gorgeous photos of the alpacas and canaries. :)
Oh I am so sorry to hear that you are sick, not fun especially as you described with Tiny Terror around. But I loved your pics of the Alpacas, they look like over-grown stuffed animals. And those canaries, how fun. Especially liked the pic of the one with his head cocked, looking up at you. Feel Better!!
Yes, he is the most exhausting child on the planet. Feel better soon!!!!!
Oh, I feel for you! You poor girl. It could be worse -- you could have two Tiny Terrors running around!
The alpacas are so beautiful and I'm not surprised about the fiber win -- it's a gorgeous shade! :)
OK. So you may want to go back on your offer to watch my kids while we go to Jillian's wedding. Because, you see, Libby also never stops talking and moving. Ever. She and Tiny are going to make your ears fall off! Also she is usually asking for fruit snacks. What a match Tiny and Libby are going to be!
