Out of Hibernation ~Yarn Along

I feel like I haven't picked up my camera in so long!!! It was hibernating I guess. Yesterday the kids had a snow day and at the end of the day we got into our snow gear and headed out to play. We even started making an igloo. It was a lot of fun.

I have plans of releasing two knitting pattern books in the future. One that includes cowls / infinity scarves and one that includes hats. I have made so many samples, but am dragging my feet in getting everything together for the books. I blame it on life getting in the way :) Maybe some more snowed in days and I'll get closer to my goal.

For Christmas I made a lot of hats. I made up the patterns and I gave them all as gifts. I want them all field tested before I release the patterns. Since yesterday my boys and husband were all wearing hats from my collection I thought I'd share some pictures of them on the yarn along.... sorry for not including any notes other than they are made out of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran and that the patterns may or may not be released at some point in the future.

Happy Knitting and keep warm!

Oh wow! Do I see an igloo in the making? We used to build igloos with our children when they were young. Such fond memories! Living in the cold north, our igloo would stay with us until springtime!

The hats are lovely and the igloo looks so fun! Half the time we get snow here that won't pack so even a simple snowman isn't always possible. Happy knitting!
