Moose Hillock August 2014

Last August we packed up our travel trailer (aka The Wolf) and headed up to Moose Hillock in the Lake George / Adirondack area of New York State.

Since Freddy and I have been scheduling our camping trips for 2015 I couldn't resist going back over our pictures from this camping trip. For Christmas I made Freddy photo books of our camping trip I figured now is a good a time as any to share them here.

Our family loves camping so much. Brady asks me everyday how many days until our next camping trip.  BTW our next trip will be to Cape Hatteras and it can't come soon enough!

But for now Moose Hillock where camping is REAL camping. Okay maybe it isn't real camping when you drive around with a super comfy travel trailer, but at least you feel like you are out in the woods with lost of room to spread out.

Stepping out from our site there are about ten camp sites in each direction. Can you see them???? NO isn't it great... so much privacy.

Rudee Tudee was on extra good behavior as always.

Off to the pool.

The week we stayed was Western Week. They had lasso and line dance lessons, pony rides, Bingo, costume contest and a wild west round up. Just to name a few of the activities.

Tiny didn't win the costume contest, but he was sure cute in my eyes.

The days were warm and bathing suit weather. I even spent quite a bit of time sun bathing at our site. But at night we cuddled up in our sweatshirts and sweatpants and cuddled up by the fire. It was just cool enough outside that the fire felt so good!

My boys can spend hours upon hours playing in the dirt. I think on this day Tiny was discovering hundreds of dinosaur teeth :)

Seriously happy kids!

Tired pup.

The pool is heated!!! And sooooo much fun.

You can even go swimming at night!!!

There are two slides and I think my kids went down them one thousand times. I think I went down them a several hundred times :) So much fun!!!!

Like I said the campsites are very large and private. We have some friends that live in the area and I think we had 4 large trucks on our site at one time and you wouldn't have even noticed them since we had so much room in the back.

The view from the back our of site. Like I said SOOO private. The campground is on a mountain so the streets are all on different levels so all the sites are staggered and it makes it feel so private.

I can't express how much fun we had there. We can't wait to go back again.
