Good Bye Tonsils

Tiny got his own room! Brady and Tiny have been in the same room and same bed for a while now. Bedtime was a nightmare for a while, then one night Tiny asked to have a sleep over in Brady's room. They slept! All night! Didn't bother me once! That went on for a few months so I went with the theory if it ain't broke don't fix it. But then the charm started wearing off and they stopped going to bed and staying in their bed.

Tiny requested his own room so he could sleep better. He wanted a RED room. He also wanted it decorated like an American flag. So we went shopping together and he picked out his bedding and decorations. Freddy was happy to loan him one of his flags until we find him another one to hang up.  He loves his new room. We still have some decorations to put up and I can't wait to see it finished!

Tiny had his tonsils and adenoids out on Wednesday so as you can imagine the past few days and nights have been MISERABLE!!!! But luckily I have been able to spend a lot of quality time with him on the couch.  He has had countless Italian ices, smoothies, yogurt and we just added pound cake to his diet.  The poor little guy gets so sick to his stomach if he doesn't get enough food in his belly before he has his medicine.  He keeps insisting he wants to eat and he is hungry but he just can't swallow. He keeps telling me he is trying to be very brave. I just give him big hugs and I can't wait for him to be all healed up.  Brady has been a very good big brother and I can't tell him enough how helpful he is.  Only a few more weeks of healing to go.

Hopefully I'll be back soon with another post, but until then I'll be cuddling up with my little guy on the couch.

Poor little guy. I was only 3 when I had mine out so I don't remember much but we ate a lot of Jello. My two older brothers had theirs out at the same time so my mom had 3 of us to deal with.

His new room looks great.
