My Quill is Done

My Quill is done!!! I love it so much. I blocked it last night and I couldn't wait to get a picture of it this morning. I plan on getting better pictures of it soon, but I had to show that it is finally done! I love it so much. It is made from 100% alpaca and it is so warm and cozy. I can wear it as a shawl, blanket, coat, cardigan. I am pretty sure there are a 100 uses for this knit.

I also made some progress on my Chesterfield Sweater. I ran out of yarn while I was away and I took a trip over to Chelsea Yarns yesterday to get the rest of the yarn for it.

and while I was at the yarn store I bought some 2 ply lace alpaca yarn for my Walk on the Moon.  I am excited to be working with Fall colors :)

ok, not gonna lie. I had to look up quill (as it relates to knitting) - so first let me say it's always nice to learn something new. Thanks! And then let me say...that is so gorgeous! I just sat here and stared!! Love the choice of colors, the detail - everything! And I can almost feel how soft it is through my screen!

Simply stunning. For those of you who might shy away from lacy edges, it would still be stunning without it.

Andee, thanks for sharing. Lovely story too.

Best,
