Although my kids have another week before they start school I wanted to get some back to school pictures of them. I can't believe Brady will be going off on the big bus to Kindergarten. He has been going to school on a bus for the past three years, but it was more of a van and it came right to our house. Now he will go off to school with the big kids five days a week for a full day. Tiny will go twice a week full day. I wanted to get some pictures of them to remember this time. They were not the most cooperative subjects.
My nephew was much more willing to satisfy my photography itch.
It was also handy to have a lollipop.
Were my boys ever this little? How did they grow up so fast?
My father and brother-in-law are in the process of laying a new floor in the alpaca showroom. My nephew was helping out too.
Wouldn't this make a fantastic photo studio! There are two solid white sheetrock walls. One whitewashed T&G wall. This was originally a chicken coop, but now it is where we sell our hand knits and other retail alpaca items. I am pretty sure I need to change the locks and keep it as a photo studio :)

pretty cool place. your boys are growing up. your nephew is a cute little bug!
Love your images- such beautiful light, can't believe it's a week left.Lucky duck...how fun it will be to sell your beautiful handmade goods and alpaca items in this great space.
We should do a photo shoot before everything goes back in the room. ASAP. Of course that means getting my kids to not look like hooligans and actually sit still for more than a minute....
of course it would make a fantastic studio!! Yay for kindergarten :)
What great photos. Love the lollipop picture of your nephew; so cute. Best wishes as you start a new school year. Heather

I can't believe Brady is going to kindergarten! Next year it will be Shea and then Libby. This is madness.
