I am still participating in the 31 Day Photo Challenge with my sister's blog.
Day 6: Books
I picked up two new books at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival.
The Shetland Trader with patterns by Gudrun Johnston and photography by Jared Flood. This book is filled with so many wonderful patterns and the photography is just breathtaking.
I have seen Jared Floods posts about photographing the knits for this book. If you haven't seen his posts you must go over and visit his site. It doesn't matter if you are a knitter or not.
Here are some Brookyn Tweed posts to drool over.
The other book I got is Coastal Knits by Alana Dakos of Never Not Knitting and Hannah Fettig of Knitbot. I have admired the patterns in these books and I know my life will not be complete until I make myself a Rocky Coast Cardigan.
Now if only work didn't interfere so much with my knitting I might be able to get something accomplished!
