Peter Pan Did It!

As I just sat down to write this post. Brady walked up to me and told me Peter Pan cut his hair.  In his hand was a huge wad of hair that he cut off from the front of his head. Oh dear... sigh.  I told him this morning I loved how nice his hair looked. I am getting very good at cutting it myself. Note to self NEVER MENTION his hair again. Oh dear we are in for a crew cut.  But I'll continue this post and deal with his hair in a little bit... big sigh.

So yesterday we swung by the farm and checked on the baby barn swallows. I think I know how they got their name.

We also checked on Geneva. She is the one laying down. Her baby is due any day now. I think the other alpacas are just as excited as we are for a new little one to be running around as we are.

Well Brady wants his hair back. I must go deal with the situation at hand.  I'm thinking baseball hat for a few weeks.

Happy Fourth of July!

note to self- after a large party at our house make sure someone doesn't leave scissors in the bathroom.

i used to do that as a kid - always cut my own hair.

LOL! Had to laugh about the hair! :-) Great shots of the baby swallows. Demanding little things!

Visiting from "It's all about Purple" - I love that first shot! And your sweet boy with that baby alpaca. And...my son woke me up one morning - very proud that he had cut his own hair. He was about 4 or 5 I'm guessing. His style was more of a deep "V" rather then rows straight across...he's 22 now, and has worn a buzz cut most of his young life!!

He looks adorable! Boys survive those self-administered haircuts so much better than girls!

Oh dear! He looks so sad after the hair-cutting misadventure! (But what a funny story to look back on when he's older, right?)

Gorgeous light you captured in his eyes in the last shot of him. Looks like he feels much better! :-)
