CHASE!

Sunday night we packed up the car and headed over to my sister's house to celebrate my nephew Chase's first birthday.  My sister was very excited about having a summer baby so she could have summer birthday parties.  As an added bonus the towns firework display was last night!  So the birthday party was complete with fire flies begin caught and stored in mason jars with paper lids wrapped with ribbons, sparklers, glow sticks, swinging on the tree swing, corn on the cobb cupcakes and lots of friends and family.  As the kids were waiting for the fireworks to begin I tried lining them up to spell "Chase" with their glow sticks.  It was very fun and I think in the end after lots of practice we got a good shot.  Good job guys!

And we had time to just play around and make fun swiggles...

Also while we were waiting for the fireworks to start. Mother Nature was putting on her own lightning show to keep us entertained.

But then it was time for the show to begin and everyone grabbed a comfy seat including Freddy and Tiny.

This was the last time Tiny had his eyes open. He curled up so fast and hid from the fireworks and fell asleep within mintues of the show starting.

The view of the towns fireworks comes just up over the tree line at the farm.  It is like we get our own private show every year.

Everyone oohhed and aaahhed and the kids of course chanted "Hit the plane!"  It was a magical Birthday Party.  Happy Birthday little Chase!  I can't believe you are already 1.
