World Bird Wednesday

I am joining along with World Bird Wednesday.  I have just recently starting trying to get pictures of birds and my identification is terrible! But I am really loving taking pictures of them and sharing with WBW. Hopefully over time I'm be able to contribute more info on the birds I am taking pictures of, but for now you'll have to bare with me as I have no clue what most of the birds I see are.  Above is a barn swallow. I took the picture at my parents farm.

Below is a morning dove that was watching over the boys as they played in the yard. It was perched there for at least thirty minutes just watching them play.

I am not sure what kind of bird this is.

I assume this is a swallow? It is just too cute.

I don't know what type this is, but it is a trouble maker messing up the feeders.

And this is my son it appears he is flipping the bird to the bird on the feeder! ha ha clearly he had no idea what he was doing, but I got a good laugh when I was reviewing my pictures.

Be sure to check out all the other birds on WBW.

Great photos! Glad you're joining WBW! The bird below the dove looks like it could be a female House Finch, but I'm not sure. The next one is a sparrow, possibly a Song Sparrow. The last one is a Brown-headed Cowbird.

These are lovely Andee!
I see Brian has done the job of identifying them.
I love your spot focus in the first shot!
I had to smile at the photo of your son. Finding a surprise when you download is pure serendipity!

A great series of photos. Photographing birds makes me look at them much more closely and definitely has helped me learn more about them.

Great shots of the birds Andee! Nice to have you on WBW too! I think Brian is right on with his bird ID's. Just one thing, the "morning" dove is actually a "mourning" dove ;-)
