Mother's Day

I learned the hard way on my first Mother's Day that just because it is Mother's Day it does not mean I get the day off.  No if fact I found I was more upset because I was expecting a lazy care free day and I was annoyed with having to get done all my usually things.  So I've wised up and realized it is better to celebrate Mother's Day by finding a quiet moment at one point during Mother's Day weekend and to sit relax and enjoy guilt free.

We are making a new garden in my backyard and on Saturday it was just dirt.  The boys discovered how to turn on the garden hose and they were in heaven making a mud pit.  I couldn't help but sit in the sun relax with my camera in hand and watch them.

Fast Freddy wasn't relaxing he was busy doing manly things like mowing the grass, weedwacking, blowing and weeding.

I asked the boys to stand together and smile and say "Happy Mother's Day". Tiny is wearing my favorite shirt. He picked it out himself at the store.

In the end it was a good Mother's Day.  I have a wonderful family and I am go grateful for them. Thanks guys for making me such a well loved mommy.

Brady made this for me at school.
Yes I like to go far way and sleep there :)  I think the day he filled this out we went away to Atlantic City for the night.  I got a kick out of it.
