Yarn Along

I knitted this hat with my hand spun yarn.  It is alpaca and I spun it on my Ashford Traditional wheel. While I was at The Mannings in PA my mother purchased the book "Woolbur" by Leslie Helakoski. It is an absolutely wonderful book. For those of you who have read it "Isn't it great?"  I highly recommend picking up a copy of this book.

I am also working on this Aidez Sweater.  I started on the back panel. It is such an ease to knit. I am really enjoying it.  I am using Eco Baby Alpaca Yarn. I purchased it at my parents farm (Arrow Acres Farm).

My mother also picked up these two books at The Mannings and I have been enjoying reading them.
The Fleece & Fiber Sourcebook by Deborah Robson & Carol Ekarius
Learn to Spin by Anne Field

I am joining along with Ginny from Small Things for her weekly yarn along.  Be sure to visit her site to view all the wonderful projects everyone is working on.

If you are in the Wall area today our farm store will be open. So swing by and give us a visit and meet an alpaca Arrow Acres Farm

Have a great day

How I love homespun wool and actually completing a project with it too! Looks lovely, and I bet that baby alpaca wool is so soft, it looks great for that sweater,

Wonderful to knit with your own handspun. Makes it even more special.
