Thanks Debbie! I feel so bad something wrong happened when I linked up with Tricia's page. I was cropping my picture and Tiny grabbed my arm demanding apple juice. I looked back at the screen and I was back on the main page and no picture!!! I feel bad.
I'm loving the contrast between that blue, blue sky & the Autumn orange leaves... so beautiful! Dark wood is my favorite on a barn, too! Fantastic find & thanks so much for joining this week's Barn Charm =)
The orange against the blue sky is wonderful to see again (it has been far too grey here and, of course, no leaves at all!). I like the square bit at the bottom right where the newer wood has been put in - it seems an oddity and one wonders "why?"
Tanya your comment about the newer wood is a good observation. The wood is the same age as the rest of the barn, but there was a storage bin there. I can remember as a little girl that it was always filled with ears of corn. I guess that slowed the aging process by keeping the wood protected.
