Sunday

Today we went to the Allenwood General Store for lunch.  It is one of my favorite places. I have been going there since I was a little girl.  I love taking my boys there because there is so much for them to look at. It really helps with Brady's speech because he wants to know what everything is and he asks me lots of questions about all the different things he sees.

They have the world's cutest little ice cream cones. Brady and Tiny had ice cream while they waited for their grilled cheese.  Yup I let my boys have ice cream before their lunch. I live on the wild side.
I like the sign that was at our table. It read "Your mother doesn't work here clean up after yourself".

Brady really wanted this scooter.  I am sure I had one just like it when I was a kid.

The boys had gotten $2.00 each from their grandparents for Halloween. So they each had their $2.00 and I let them pick out something they wanted to buy. I told them it had to cost $2.00 or else they couldn't have it.

They searched the store thoroughly.

They picked out those candy dots. They were so excited and stood in line to pay for them. (They will be brushing their teeth extra long tonight.)

Then some horses stopped by. Their owners got some food and people at the General Store gave the horses some carrots.
I miss having horses and ponies. When I was younger I would ride my pony while my Dad rode his horse and we would go to Dunkin Donuts. We would tie up or horse and pony to the cart return rack.  I would get my donut and hot chocolate and then we would ride off somewhere else.

We also went to the airport to see the sky divers and airplanes.
Brady has been noticing all the changes in the season. He pointed out that the grass isn't green anymore.

We played on the Bumble Bee Playground. This isn't the real name of it, but in the summer there are so many bumble bees there the boys don't like it.  But this time of year there aren't any bumble bees so we have lots of fun.  It is a fun playground because the airplanes go right over the playground. The boys will reach their arms up high in the air as if they can touch the airplanes. Tiny always points out, "that was a really loud one!"
