These are my grandparents Mommom & Poppop.
Poppop passed away in February of 2001 and Mommom passed away in July of 2010. I miss them dearly.
My grandfather was in the Navy. He was stationed on the USS Arizona, but was called away for a training mission. So when the Arizona was attacked and sunk by the Japanese it was fate that my grandfather was not on the battleship. However all of his personal belonging were on the ship and they sunk with it. So to this day they are still on the ship sunk at Pearl Harbor.
I am very grateful that he was not on the boat that day. If he had been on that boat, then I would not be here today.
