I just stepped out to the bird feeders and got a quick shot of a Blue Jay and a Cardinal. Those two along with my last photo session at the feeder completes the list of birds that are labeled on my wild bird seed. Now I guess I have to get some new feed to bring in some new feathered friends.
I was reading this blog today and discovered you can actually make money getting a picture of a rare bird. For example $50,000.00 for a picture! Clearly I am in the wrong line of business. I am going to have to step my game up a little. Since this was only my second attempt to get pictures of birds I have a long way to go. But you better believe I'll be keeping my eyes pealed for an Ivory-billed Woodpecker.
My blogging friend Debbie has encouraged me to share this post with World Bird Wednesday. I really have enjoyed visiting this site and I am amazed at how many birds are out in the world as well as amazing photographers. Thanks for the encouragement Debbie.

these are really good. you should link them with wbw. it's a really great group of people, you will get a lot of people looking and leaving comments!!
The bluejay and the cardinal are two of my favorites. The cardinal for just what it does in your photo - it stands out beautifully.
I feed the birds and watched them but WBW has given me a whole new venue in trying to capture them. It's been a lot of fun. Debbie's right - it's a great group.
