Yarn Along

I am very exited to be joining the Yarn Along. I've missed out for a while now since most of my knitting has been secretive (Christmas gifts and new patterns).  For Christmas I asked Freddy for yarn so I can make a sweater. He even let me pick out my own yarn :) I got Anzula Squishy in the color way Paprika. I love it so much.

I also purchased some buttons from Wooly Moss Roots. I love them!!! They will add the perfect touch to my Clarity Cardigan. The Clarity Cardigan pattern is by Gretchen Ronnevik.  I am enjoying knitting this so much.

For reading I am listening to the Fiery Cross another book in the Outlander series. I am loving these books so much. If you have any interest in pretending to be a person from the 1960's and goes back in time 200 years into the past and begin your life again in a Scottish clan and then traveling even to America during the time of Indians and the colonies then this series might be up your alley. I am loving the characters in these books as well as their relationships. Since I am part Scottish I am loving learning so much about the Scottish. It is fascinating! In the story right now I am loving how the main character is adjusting to starting a life on a large piece of land building everything on their own. Clair knows the comforts of modern day society, but she will throw it all away to be with the man she loves. Diana Gabaldon goes into so much detail you can really picture all the settings so well. Really I can't say enough of how much I love these books.  My only warning if you want to get into them yourself I recommend the audio books since they are very long books. I listen to them while knitting, spinning and also on the treadmill.
