Back in the Saddle

It's Friday!!!! Woo Hoo. Life has been a bit of a roller coaster over the past few weeks.  But I am happy to report things are looking better now. And as a bonus I have a finished new design!

Meet my new pattern "Pebble Pullover" and no I don't have the pattern available. For now I'm just going to wait for some cooler weather and enjoy getting to wear it. I used Shibui Pebble yarn. If you haven't used it before I recommend running to a store or ordering a truck load of it. It is fantastic. I used the colorway "Ash". It is a blend of silk, merino and cashmere. LOVE IT!

When I get Blue's fleece back from the fiber mill I am going to spin it up and make a version of it with his yarn.

Freddy had surgery a few weeks ago and his recovery is going low and steady. Also my father-in-law had to have emergency open heart surgery. I am pleased to report that the surgery went well and he too is recovering slow and steady.

Thankfully we live close to the hospital where my father-in-law is staying so we have had lots of company staying at our house so they could be close to visit him. We love all the company and seeing family. But after cooking for weeks I think we are all going out to dinner! Maybe I'll have a little more time to get some knitting done tonight.

Do you like how none of the alpacas could care about my pretty pullover. Not even one would look at it.

Ahh that's my Blue! "Yes Blue I'm going to turn your fiber into one of those!"

His response he rolled in the dirt pile!  I guess he doesn't like it.

Hopefully I'll be back on a regular blog posting schedule again soon, but for now we are taking things day by day.

I just casted on a sweater for Tiny and I love it! I don't plan on releasing any more patterns for a little while. I think I will once I have the time to focus on them. Right now I'm spread too thin. But I have huge dreams of being a knitwear designer by day!
