Chelsea Yarns My Happy Place

I don't mind admitting I'm a yarn snob. I love yarn, but not all yarn is created equal. Chelsea Yarns is filled with the most wonderful yarn you can buy. It is like fiber heaven. I might also add that you won't meet a better staff of people.  Christina is awesome and if you haven't had the chance to meet her I feel sorry for you.  After the first time I shopped there I knew it was my one stop place for yarn and needles.

Chelsea Yarns is located in Colts Neck, New Jersey. My boys were in art camp all week just down the road so I was so happy to be able to stop by and get some knitting time in at the table!

Seriously the yarn in this store is just amazing every where you look.

Recognize that pattern? My Penny Infinity Scarf.

I love all the samples in the store! I was there before they were open hence the lack of customers in the store. As soon as the store is open the place is filled! I can't think of a time when I've been in there when I haven't seen several people trying on different knits trying to decide what their next project would be.

So many buttons.

Look my knitting on the table.

Buttons, shawl pins, and so much more!

The mascot.

Oh if only I could quit my job and have more time to knit.

I have to give a huge thank you to Chelsea Yarns for letting me hang out, relax and knit! I wish I had more free time so I could come by more often!

I feel like I had a vacation at Chelsea Yarns, thanks to your post, Andee. I am just in love with your fabulous designs and with Chelsea Yarns, the best knitting source ever. I only wish I lived close enough to visit regularly. Thank you for the tour, Andee. It made me feel as though I were there. My next Chelsea Yarns purchase will be for your Standing Stones cowl.

What a lovely tour of what is obviously a fantastic LYS. I think if I had that shop nearby, too would be a yarn snob. :)

Andee, you are so right, Chelsea Yarns is the best. I have been lucky enough to meet Christina in person, along with everyone else, who all make you feel like a member of the family when you walk through the door. Blessed to live close enough to be able to drop in anytime.
