My new pattern "Postcard Cardigan" is taking shape. It is so hard not to share pictures of my patterns as I am designing them. I couldn't resist a few small sneak peeks. I am enjoying knitting it so much. I was a little hesitant about designing a cardigan because I know it will mean I need to take the time to work out all the different sizes for the pattern release. Sigh. I do think I worked out an easy way to alter it so fingers crossed the pattern will go smoothly. But on the positive side I think it means I need to order some more Brooklyn Tweed Loft for another sample :) I am loving knitting with the Loft so much. I think I need to order 2000 yards of it in each color.
Brady has strep throat. He spent the weekend on the couch cuddled up with a fever. The medicine is working and he is finally feeling much better. Tiny on the other hand. Ugg Tiny. I tried taking a few pictures this morning and of course he jumped in front of the camera for just about every shot. He is feeling fine at the moment. He has a cold and I'm thinking his throat is getting a little too red... good thing the doctor gave me a script for him. It looks like he will need it. She had suggested I kept the two apart. Yeah that is about impossible.
Rudee got spayed yesterday and now has to wear a cone on her head for a week. Poor girl. She just whimpers and looks at me. When we got home from the vet she was sniffing around in the snow and the cone would dig into the snow like a shovel (we have about 8" on the ground). I felt so bad, but I couldn't stop laughing. Poor girl. I've made sure to keep the cone off when we go outside now.
Hopefully she will heal up fast, the boys get over their sickness and Freddy's shoulder surgery recovery is still going. Slowly but surely we will all be back to 100%.
Happy Knitting

You are a wonder woman. Managing sick kids, sick husband, sick dog and STILL you have time to not only knit but to make your own patterns. Meanwhile, I can barely get up the energy to walk from the couch to the bathroom and back...
Oh dear... :-o

Love that stitch pattern, sounds like the cardigan is going to be gorgeous.
Hope your little boy feels better soon and your dog too. Having to wear the cone of shame too... bless!
Can't wait to see the finished product - it looks beautiful. I've been longing to make something in the postcard colorway... maybe this will be it:)
I must be the only person in the world that does not like to work with Loft!
Your cardigan looks interesting...I am glad for the sneak peak.
And...I am always up for cute little boy faces!
Your cardigan does look beautiful - the lace pattern is gorgeous! Oh your poor dog :-) I remember when we had our little dachshund desexed, she came home from the vest looking as if she couldn't believe her life had gone from fabulous to appalling. All she wanted to do for the next couple of days was sit on our laps and give big deep sighs. Hope your little boys are better soon!
