Did you just pee on my foot?

I have to say I had so much fun at the photo shoot yesterday. It reminded me why I choose photography as my major in college. I just love photography.  I never finished college and photography got put on the bottom of my list of priorities for a while. But since starting this blog I've had so much fun getting back into it.

I like to think if I had finished college and if I did have a career as a photographer I would be a portrait photographer. I love working with kids and families.  I love seeing how happy people are after seeing the images I've taken.  Fun stuff.

So I love taking pictures. I also love knitting. I just finished up a fun shawl and I asked Freddy to model it for me so I can take pictures.  He was not as willing to pose for me like the fancy lingerie model I got to photograph yesterday. But still he did a good job.  I told him where to stand. I noticed you could see my reflection in his glasses so I told him where to look (making sure I didn't have to Photoshop myself out later).

Tiny caught on to us. He realized we were outside and came running out of the house to see what was going on. Can you see him in Freddy's glasses?

Oh and the shawl / scarf was made out of yarn from my parents alpacas. Isn't that fun. I combined Kal, Awan and Mychrona.  I think they go very well together.

So Freddy was doing a great job standing still while I kept repositioning the scarf. It can be worn a million ways and I wanted to show off all the different ways it could be worn.  Then without warning...

He looks down and sees Tiny peeing on his foot! Tiny ugg.
Who does that?  At least it made Freddy laugh.  But of course he did so behind Tiny's back (we don't want to encourage the Tiny Terror).

And that is the stuff that happens when you photograph with kids. Or at least mine... what am I going to do with that child?!  But really I love taking pictures of kids and I hope to do more of it.

Happy Father's Day Freddy. Thank you for all that you do for us.  I am sorry I didn't get you a fancy gift, but I'm saving for our BIG trip!!!  I can't wait to get away with you and have an awesome vacation.  Love you!

And to my Dad Happy Father's Day to you too! Thank you for everything you do for me throughout the year. You are too good to me!

Handsome Freddy, next time use a "less attractive" model, so peeps look at the scarf ;)))

I, for one, was very distracted!!

Tiny isn't going to change until he is in his 20's, I know this because he is a clone to my Michael!! Good luck, your going to need it!!

Gorgeous scarf... and your model certainly has poise. I'm not sure a grin is all that I would have come up with in response to the 'water' bath!

Love that your model only broke his form with a sly smirk. I am not sure I could be so composed. That is hilarious!

I love a good unisex shawl! Looks totally hip and it's really beautiful yarn. What pattern did you use?

Also, my son is turning into a crazy pee-er too. He loves to pee anywhere and everywhere. He's yet to pee on our feet though.
