Enjoying Life

I was very upset when my best friend told me see was moving across the country.  I was even more upset when she told me her mother was selling her house and moving across country too.  I still live in the town we grew up in.  With tearful eyes she told me now that her mother left she had no plans of returning to our hometown.

We spent endless hours together playing at each other's houses and now that we both have kids it makes me sad that they don't get to play together. I have stayed connected with my friend by her blog and she does the same through mine.  Since we each have two little ones running around it is hard to make phone calls and write, but thanks to the Internet we are closer than ever.

I was thrilled last month when she called me to tell me she was returning home for a wedding!!!!!  We spent so much time together and watched our children enjoying eath other company. They were playing some of the same things that we did when we were little.  The visit was priceless and the picture above is of her little girl.  Possibly the sweetest little girl I ever met.

I really do enjoy my life and when moments like this happen I enjoy it even more.

I love love LOVE your tree swing picture! It's perfection in every way! :-)

Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my blog! I totally hear you on the color issues. My calibration software has been sitting here (unopened) on my desk for a week now... we're so busy I haven't had time to mess with it. (And I'm kind of scared to anyway - lol!)

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! :-)
