Cria Races

Today after I dropped Tiny off at summer camp I swung by the farm.  The weather was so nice. It was 68 degrees and there was a cool breeze.  Perfect weather for the alpacas.  The babies (crias) are about two weeks old and they are so fast!  Brady tried his best to outrun them but they won every time.  Brady would start running and they would come whipping by him racing him to the top of the hill.  My mother, Brady and I were laughing so hard.

Baby Reno has more white on his face.  He was the baby that had to go to the vet clinic in the middle of the night with a fever.  He's fever was cured and his mother finally figured out that she is supposed to nurse him, so things are happy at the farm now.  Reno had so much handling in his first few weeks that he just loves people (he is two weeks and two days old).  He seems like a puppy and runs up to us and gives us lots of kisses. He is too cute.  The other baby is very cute too, but Reno gets the personality award.

I also took some videos of Brady running around the field.  It was so funny it really was. The little alpacas would run so fast it is amazing.

Do you like Brady's drawing of him standing on the hill with Reno?  Reno and Wea also were so interested in my camera bag that I took it off my back and put it down on the ground for them to investigate.  Alpacas are too funny.

What a cute face! I could not tell at first, the larger picture helped. That is cute footage of the running alpaca.
