Scavenger Hunt Sunday 4.1.12 & Yarn Along

I am joining along once again with Ashley of Rambling and Photos Weekly Photo Scavenger Hunt.
I am also joining along with Ginny of Small Thing's Yarn Along.

1.Clouds
This is Belmar Beach, New Jersey. I go to the beach just about everyday rain or shine. In a few months this beach will be packed with people.  I really enjoy living so close to the beach.

2. Sun Flare
Or lack of sun flare. I forgot to write this down and I missed my chance to get a sun flare shot.  The sun is straight ahead in this shot behind the clouds.  It has been overcast all day.  I did some photoshop editing to try to make up for my failed shot.

3. Seven
There are seven weird fungus things growing on this white birch.

4. High Angle
I knitted this little alpaca toy for my son.  I knitted him one awhile ago and he has been asking me for another one.  So I finished this little guy last night and put him under my son's arm while he was sleeping.  He woke up and yelled out in excitement "Mommy my new alpaca is done!"

5. Low Angle
My son with his two alpacas. He hasn't put them down all day.

I made up the pattern for the alpaca.  I used Eco Baby Alpaca yarn. The yarn is 100% baby alpaca natural undyed. Ravelry link

Isn't it fantastic to surprise them with something when they wake up? I haven't done that in quite a long time...thanks for the reminder...I will have to think of something to brighten their day with. Thanks for sharing.
