The Scenic Route

Yesterday my mother and I took a wonderful spinning lesson at The Mannings in Pennsylvania. We spent the night in Lancaster and after having a delicious breakfast and stopping at Shady Maple for some gourmet apple bread. We got on the road headed home. My mother drove and I took pictures.  Of course we took the scenic route.

I am joining along with Tricia's Barn Charm

Welcome to Barn Charm!!!

Incredible array of images, all so crisp & clear! There are so many different structures on each farm that it's hard to tell which building is used for what... =0

Excellent series & thank you so very much for joining Barn Charm! =)

Awesome a great set maybe you can tell me. I took some photos of barns in PA last year they all had stars on them. What does that mean do you know?

What a fabulous post. So many interesting barn you and your mother passed on your trip. I think I have bought fiber from The Mannings online for use with my wheels. I bet it was a fabulous place to go to take a spinning lesson. Your last 3 photos are awesome. That is one gigantic complex of farm buildings and all are in pristine condition. Beauties. genie

Thank you for all the wonderful compliments on my photos. Almost all of them were taken from inside the car and through the glass. I was thrilled when I uploaded them onto my computer how clear they came out.

Saun, I don't know what the stars mean. My parents have some stars at their house for decorations. People always ask if they mean something. But as far as we know they are just decorations.

Genie, the Manning’s was incredible!!! I loved the spinning course. It was amazing and so much fun.
