Yarn Along

I had to name these little booties "Itty Bitty Booties" they are size 3-6 months.  When I took the picture of these booties I put them on a little rocking chair my Uncle Mayo made.  I used to sit in this chair when I was a little girl and now my boys use it.  Uncle Mayo was from France. He was one of the nicest people I have ever know.  He passed his farm down to my parents. If Uncle Mayo was still alive today I can picture him peacefully sitting under the apple tree looking at the alpacas with a large smile on his face.

I also have a Helix Scarf on my needles.  I have one more skein to go and it will be finished. I used baby alpaca yarn that is a mix of gray and white.

I am joining along with Ginny's Yarn Along today.
Here is a Ravelry link to a Helix Scarf I made before with the same yarn. I haven't posted this one yet.

You made me cry when you wrote about Uncle Mayo. I think of him every time my boys are laughing in the house and how happy he would be to know his little house was filled with children.
